ATV24 and EMS Crew Assist with Inauguration
At 4:30 a.m. on January 20, 2017, ATV 24 and an EMS crew departed Walkersville Volunteer Rescue Company to provide coverage on Frederick County Ambulance 78. The crews assisted D.C. Fire & EMS with the Inauguration of President Donald Trump.
ATV24 staged at the Washington Monument to assist with the ambulances crews in that area. Crews were on hand to transport patients to waiting ambulances for transport to local hospitals. ATV24 had two calls during the day.
Company 24 EMS crew manned on Ambulance 78 and staged in front of the Verizon Center. They received two calls during the day; One refusal and one ankle injury that was transported to Georgetown Hospital.
ATV24 and EMS crew had a very successful day. They were released at 19:30 hours.
